Sarlo Protected Convicted Rapist Mohan (Michael Lyons)

Fake guru Michael Lyons (Mohan Singh) protected and shielded from public attention by Guru Ratings owner "Sarlo", former leader of Vancouver Osho centre, has been jailed for sex attacks and rape.

Sarlo who previously had refused to allow reports of Michael Lyons sex attacks to be posted on his YahooGroup GuruRatings finally had to accept the conviction and in order to limit the damage to his own reputation. Sarlo eventually was forced to allow a small mention of the rapist Mohan which he had previously denied and harassed posters on his list.

The late Tim Guest who exposed his unhappy life as a Rajneeshi child reported in his book acclaimed book "Second Life" that sannyas culture promoted the idea of sexual initiation of underage girls by visiting Osho sannyas leaders. Old sannyasins like Sarlo who was himself such a leader seek to distance themselves from the historical tragedy which they were part of. Tim Guest died of an overdose. Several critics with the sannyas community have been poisoned or died of an overdose. Bhagwan Rajneesh, Osho, himself claimed to have been poisoned. Several sannyasins have been jailed for using poison.

Sarlo while appearing critical of guru corruption appears to overlook sannyas criminals.

I understand why Sarlo would hide rapists. The whole commune was run by rapists. It was a shocking but accepted way of life. The price to be near Osho.

Sarlo knows of these abuses but do you expect him to admit his part?

Many sannyas are following the Mohan (Michael Lyons) court case. The women want him to be jailed, some men too, but some sannyas leaders want to hide the story because they could be prosecuted.

Be careful, these sannyas skeletons do not want to be forced from the closet.

We received this remembrance of Sarlo from a sannyasin known simply as "Prem":

You have to understand that Sarlo lost it in India. He lost his shirt to the local Pune mafia, got dysentery, needed psychiatric treatment and returned back to Canada a broken man. Sarlo's anti-American posturing relates to his paranoid delusions about being on a US DEA watch list for conspiring to score drugs.

Sarlo was depressed for quite some time. His partner, Amiyo, nursed him back to health and put up with his attacks and especially, as a woman, his misogyny. It was then that she excused his bad behavior as caused by delirium, which it was not. Sarlo wore Amiyo down and now, when her health, his bad she depends on him even though she was the stronger one.

When Osho died, Sarlo was again delirious. He wanted to follow Osho into death! It was a crazy time. It was when Sarlo "recovered" that he became super aggressive. He was angry at Osho, the US government, Pune, Amiyo and his mother (who is 80 now). Sarlo could not release his anger. Dynamic meditation could not do it. He could not be angry at Osho for "abandoning" him, so he became angry at sanyassins for abandoning Osho. It was then that he invented the so-called "Sarlo's Guru Ratings Service" which is shocking manifestation of his destructive unconscious. Sarlo is driven to destroy all gurus and godmen as a sublimated expression of oedipal rage. Why else would he have spent so much time knocking gurus on his site and Yahoogroup?

Sarlo is not just a danger to gurus. He is a danger to everyone around him and governments. It is not because he is liberal or fair but because of a death wish. Sarlo still wishes to follow Osho unto death because in doing so he believes he will find peace from his self-contempt and hatred of others. But Sarlo will find no peace in Osho because Osho is not a man to support Sarlo's aggressiveness. Osho looks like a rebel but it is a device of compassion. Sarlo's rebelliousness is nothing but disguised hatred.

You should give up on Sarlo unless you like pathology. There is nothing you can do with him or for him.

Sannyasnews.org has dared to draw attention to Osho Rajneesh's words about the attempted murders within the sannyas commune. Osho naively believed that all of the conspirators would be exposed after Sheela's gang escaped. Instead Vivek and Osho died in suspicious circumstances. Osho had prophetically said that the poisoners could have killed him too after killing the 3 people closest to him, "Just the other day I came to know that Sheela, and the whole gang that has escaped from here, were trying to kill three people who are very close to me: Devaraj, my physician; Devageet, who was my dentist in India; and Vivek, who has taken care of me for all these fifteen years."

Brave Sannyasnews! Already critics and disrupters have descended on Sannyasnews demanding to know why the editor has published Osho's words instead of burying them. What an irony, so-called Osho followers demanding that an Osho site not publish Osho's words! Something stinks. This is how Sarlo treats sannyasins and questions about Osho's death! Sarlo chooses to protect the murderers by suppressing all discussion. This suppression has manifested as constants harassment of Sannyasnews and the criminal act of sabotaging Sannyasnews and taking its forum offline on several occasions.

In the meeting here, in the last ceremony, Devaraj was injected with poison. He is a doctor, has the highest qualifications from Britain. He immediately understood what had been done. He felt the prick. It happened when Shanti B. was by the side of him, telling him something, one hand on his shoulder, another hand near his body on the floor.
He immediately started saying that he had been poisoned, he had been injected. Nobody could believe it, but his situation was… he became pale as if he was dying. He had to be sent to Bend Hospital.

Hasya was there to take care of him. The doctors who were looking after him told Hasya that there seemed to be no reason for his sudden sickness, except that some poisoning had been done. They also said that the same case had happened with the attorney of Jefferson County last year, and they suspect it was exactly the same case of poisoning.
Now this gang was making it instead of a meditation camp, a concentration camp. And why did these three people have to be removed, to be killed? Just because they were close to me.

Who was the electrician for the Ranch? Swami Jalal (Tim Pushman)

Swami Jalal (Tim Pushman), Sarlo's fellow sannyas buddy, censor of websites exploring Osho's death, man who spied on Osho's girlfriend just before she died suspiciously in what looked like a faked suicide six weeks before Osho "died". "Jalal" who denied OshoRebels/RajneeshRebels a listing on the Osho page of the Open Directory Project. Swami Jalal who uses a fake sannyas name "Gorakh" to run Sannyasworld.com and spread deceptions into the naive sannyas populace.

n0by, who has many times noted Sarlo's heavy-handed censorship, exposed Jalal's unconvincing smokescreen. Jalal supplied a picture but only of him wearing dark sunglasses. n0by made a screenshot of Jalal's email in which Jalal admitted being a Ranch electrician before. n0by also noted that Jalal is an IT professional because websites exploring Osho and Vivek's suspicious deaths had been hacked and burned. The Sannyas Mafia Decree: Not Even Osho Is Free

It is a commonly held belief that Osho exercised such magnetic control over his followers that they could only carry out his wishes and not their own. This view is not only naive but untrue.

Osho was a prisoner inside his own ashram and lived in seclusion. Contact with Osho was limited to one person, Sheela, who was accused of poisoning and murder plots. Osho's room, as were all ashram facilities, bugged. Sheela did not have the ability by herself to execute all of the crimes of which she is accused.

Pari writing as Sam in "Life of Osho" describes a plot which would require a dedicated team of electricians.

Where are those electricians today? "The Truth About Sarlo's Guru Ratings Service" has tracked one down. This former ashram electrician happens to work closely with Sarlo. This is no coincidence.

Pari was an editor of Sannyasnews.com, a site dedicated to exploring sannyas issues without censorship or fear. Sannyasnews was frequently attacked by hackers. Who would have something to fear from a few old sannyasins discussing what might have been the cause of Osho's death?

Sannyas without Borders or Morality

Osho created a climate which virtually guaranteed his own people would kill him. He taught his neo-sannyasins to subvert India's strict Hindu culture of morality. His sannyas took the name and clothing of ascetics but lived as hedonists. Imagine how offensive it is for deeply religious people to see monks and nuns walking down the street with no underwear and kissing - this is the offense that sannyas knowingly caused in India.

Osho did not want his sannyas to be hypocrites, to not hide or suppress their feelings but to let it all out. Osho could not contain the tsunami of pent up rage, jealousy and hate which flowed from some sannyasins, and in the end it killed him.

To quote Christopher Calder who first met Acharya Rajneesh (Osho) in his Bombay apartment in December of 1970:

"Rajneesh felt that teaching ethics was unnecessary because meditation would automatically lead to good behavior. The actions of Rajneesh and his disciples proves that theory to be completely false. Rajneesh taught that you should do as you please because life is both a dream and a joke. This attitude led to the classically fascist belief that one can become so high and mighty that one is beyond the need for old fashioned values and ethical behavior."

Calder is attacked by a mob of sannyasins on every sannyas forum which he posts including Sarlo's manipulated lists.

The Guru Trap: Bait, Poison and Switch

Osho said he took spirituality to the market place. The market is such a great place, so Osho's sannyasins armed themselves with AK47's. Not for every sannyasins was spirituality the answer nor the goal. Sex, power and money have always been an allure for sannyasins and these adventures could be heavily subsidized by criminal activities such as drug smuggling and prostitution. Old "Gasbag" Bhagwan's (as Sheela called him) promises of nirvana in the faraway future could be indefinitely postponed.

The rank and file neo-sannyasins provided a readily available cash cow to provide funds and free labor for different ventures including wire-tapping their own population. The international sannyas network could be organized to arrange "parties" through which the drug Ecstasy could be channeled into Europe and USA. After Osho died the sannyas drug dealers had the power and motive to keep the Osho party going.

Swami Anand Veeresh (Danny Yuson-Sanchez), who allegedly kicked a heavy drug habit, created his own sannyas fiefdom under the Osho trademark in the Netherlands, Humaniversity, (Egmond aan Zee) with a franchise in the UK, Osho Leela. Veeresh claiming to offer addiction and sex therapy training actually runs exhausting encouter groups in which "clients" are subjected to sleep deprivation, encouraged to get drunk (Beck beer breaks), fast on soup and strongly pressured to change sex partners several times a day. "Clients" are also expected to act as "prostitutes and punters" but the role-play is for real involving actual sex and cash payment. Clients meet Yuson-Sanchez Veeresh daily for Veersh's drunken discourse known as "Veeresh's Sherry Hour". Claims that Veeresh overcame his addiction issues are doubtful since Veeresh is an alcoholic. Even when Osho was alive Veeresh would urinate in in the corridor of Osho's house. Veersh advocates that his "clients" forget about nrivana and enlightenment, Osho' main product, and get therapy Danny Yuson-Sanchez style!

Sarlo's Guru Ratings site has nothing much to say about guru usurper, Swami Anand Veeresh, hiding him away in his Miscellaneous (not fitting elsewhere)" section and disingenuously describing him as a "therapist" (perhaps "the rapist"?). In an additional Osho section Sarlo praises Veeresh as one of several sannyasins who are "in their presentation, style and form most faithful to Osho". None of which is true, but then truth is not Sarlo's strong point, which is why we publish "The Truth About Sarlo's Guru Ratings Service" and Sarlo why wants it removed.

Osho did not support "therapists" getting their own fames and spoke angrily against them. Sarlo also criticizes ex-sannyas therapists such as Swami Ananda Teertha (Paul Lowe), Swami Anand Somendra Michael Barnett, Swami Anand Santoshaka (Jeru Kabbal) and Swami Anand Rajen (Allen Lowen). In time Veeresh too would have raised Osho's anger except Osho died (or was murdered).

Osho, whilst rich in name, had little interest in money and possessions but others wanted his name, fame and power and conspired to get it. Exploring the treacherous group from which Sarlo thrived and prospered will help make transparent Sarlo's internet ambitions.

Osho's Sannyas Mafia - Killing Off the Competition

Osho Rajneesh's neo-sannyas movement grew enormously rich; rich enough for The Bhagwan to be "donated" 100 Rolls Royces, unused status symbols which simply rusted. There were plenty of rich sannyasins around to splash the cash and keep Osho financially secure for several lifetimes (reported earnings are $15-$45 million annually in the U.S. alone). Osho had little personal use for money beyond building a private library. When he was not giving his daily discourses he stayed alone in a simply furnished room. Osho's only vice (other than voyeurism) was laughing gas (nitrous oxide). Someone else had to be responsible for the ashram, the unpaid sannyas work force, the sale of over 600 books and tapes by Osho, the 200,000 tourist visitors a year - and a huge stash of cash big enough to kill for.

And killing did happen. Murder attempts too: US Attorney Charles Turner, citizens of The Dalles, Osho's personal physician (Swami Devaraj) and personal assistant/consort, Vivek. Eventually, they got to Vivek. Vivek’s untimely death was hushed up and made to look like suicide - just 6 weeks later Osho died after complaining that someone was trying to kill him. Poison had been used in all cases and poison was known to have been widely employed by some sannyasins.

Osho's personal secretary, Ma Anand Sheela has been blamed for nearly everything. She is accused of ordering the botched murder attempt on Vivek. Sheela, Osho was told, had stolen $50,000,000 and put it in a Swiss bank account before escaping. However the aging Sheela today works in a Swiss retirement home to pay her rent, not exactly the lifestyle of a rich millionaire. Sheela was the patsy, the fall guy. Who really profited from these actions? Where did the money go? Whoever they are, they are clever enough to have avoided detection. Certain sannyasins have conspired to create a cover-up.

Swami Deva Sarlo, former ashram security guard and leader of Samaroha Meditation Center in Vancouver, does not want you to know. Sarlo has some friends who also do not want you to know. Try raising the subject on Sarlo's Guru Rating or LivingOsho list (Yahoo Groups).

The Hidden Agenda of Sarlo's Guru Rating Service

Sarlo would be little known if it were not for a website which he created to stop members of his cult center leaving to follow other gurus after the suspicious death of internationally outlawed cult leader Osho (Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, Chandra Mohan Jain). Sarlo, who refuses to reveal his legal name, hides behind the cult name given to him by the Bhagwan in 1974, Swami Deva Sarlo. Sarlo runs the Osho Samaroha Meditation Center in Vancouver with his mistress of 27 years, Ma Dhyan Amiyo.

Perversely, Sarlo, on his guru rating site, gives the highest ranking to Osho even though Osho ran a manipulative cult whose members have been provenly engaged in an orgy of horrendous criminal acts including the mass poisoning of a whole town, attempted murder of sannyas cult members, wire tapping, gun and drug running, prostitution and voter corruption. Consequently, in 1985 Osho was extradited from USA, put on a plane and refused stay in 21 countries. Eventually, Osho returned to India where the local authorities in Pune tried to ban him in 1986.

Osho repeatedly claimed that someone in his Koregaon Park Pune ashram was trying to kill him. By 1990 Osho and his consort, Vivek, were dead, 6 weeks apart in suspicious circumstances. What followed was a vicious internecine war between different sannyas factions which sought to profit from the Osho name, as well as thwart investigations into suspicious ashram deaths including that of the cult leader himself, Osho.

From this violent background, Sarlo, who admits being a Pune ashram "security guard", has emerged as a controller in the old sannyas network, runs an official Osho center and manages several sannyas discussion lists. Astute readers of Sarlo's lists, which include Sarlo's Guru Rating Forum (hosted by Yahoo Groups) will instantly notice that Sarlo, runs his lists with the iron fist of a cruel dictator. Sarlo bans members who seek to explore the possible causes of Osho’s and Vivek's closely timed deaths. Also banned by Sarlo is any real criticism of Sarlo, his associates and supporters. Unfortunately, Sarlo has stifled an open and honest discussion which some sannyasins actually want to have. Sarlo has incited mob attacks on women in particular and ignored complaints of criminal activities against women by male members of his forum. Sarlo has gone as far to create unfair and untrue accusations against those who do not follow his directives. Such exploitative and abuse behavior towards women is common at many sannyas centers; Sarlo has never grown out of his misogyny.

One thing should be absolutely clear to the aware reader by now: Sarlo’s Guru Rating Service has an unstated and hidden agenda to subvert public and sannyas perceptions about the mafia-like war that has been waged inside Osho's movement for the past 40 years. Clearly, Sarlo’s pronouncements have to be seen for what they are: vicious attacks on anything which destabilizes the Osho neo-sannyasin movement including gurus and former sannyasins who have freed themselves from the tyranny of the sannyas mafia.
