Sarlo's Sannyas Mafia Internet War: Control, Delete, Ban and Hack

OshoRebels/RajneeshRebels was created in 2003 by group of sannyasins who wanted to investigate the suspicious death of Osho. Attempts to suppress the free speech of the authors were so successful that the site had to be moved and renamed several times and today no longer exists. Similar attacks were made on SannyasNews.com which crashed their site, erased information and stopped use of their forum discussion about the possible causes of Osho's death.

OshoRebels/RajneeshRebels is not to be confused with OshoRebel.com which started in 2007 with Sarlo's blessings.

Sarlo and his list mafia tried to stop all mention of OshoRebels/RajneeshRebels and refused to add their link to the Osho webring (which he controls). OshoRebels/RajneeshRebels was also denied a listing on the Osho page of the Open Directory Project by a man who works closely with Sarlo, Swami Jalal (Tim Pushman). The OPD is a project helped by volunteers. Pushman created an OPD editor position from where he could effectively censor Osho sites which he did not like or give a bad review. He cunningly gave top position and the most review words to his own site, Sannyasworld.com, which he published under the pseudonym "Gorakh" and has never admitted to owning.

Hiding behind one sannyas name is enough but for some reason Pushman needed to invent a second name to do his dirty work amongst the naive sannyas population. Ironically it was not the authorized name given to him by his supposed master, Osho.

Tim Pushman supported Sarlo with Sarlo's defunct YahooGroup 'sannyas-list' which Sarlo closed down when questions about his real agenda became too personal. Sarlo made sure that no archive was left but he could not remove emails from people's accounts.

Pushman was very aware, too aware of OshoRebels, when he revealed in 2007 in a list post supporting OshoRebels.com:

"the earlier 'oshorebels' , and before that, 'rajneeshrebels' (and even
earlier 'socrates truth') were all very negative and appeared to be run out
of Nepal. It's good to see that the new site is starting off on a different tack."

One of the OshoRebels/RajneeshRebels sites banned by Sarlo and Jalal Pushman was hosted at
http://free.hostdepartment.com/r/rajneeshrebels

Fortunately we have a legacy of emails and pages from OshoRebels/RajneeshRebels. Sarlo's and Jalal Pushman's attacks on the investigation into Osho's death took them out of the shadows and into the spotlight.
